In a new trailer for indie game Linelight from award-winning indie studio My Dog Zorro, we get a glimpse at a world of light, color, lines and nothing else. Check out the trailer for indie game Linelight below:

Linelight has 300 levels across six worlds, with relaxing music, deceptively complex gameplay mechanics and an unbeatable design aesthetic that takes minimalism one step further. Your line, the “Dash”, has only one control: “MOVE.”

Color-coded switches can form a bridge, red moving lines are deadly to the touch and secret pathways can help expand your time in Linelight .

Founder and lead designer for My Dog Zorro stated in a press release, “My goal was to take simplification to the extreme, initially for the fun/rewarding design challenge, but eventually because that’s where the most beautiful possibilities dwelled. Linelight ’s lifeblood is in its elegance: every puzzle and every line serve a unique purpose. When I brought all of the game’s components together (e.g., the music and aesthetics), it all came alive! I hope you have as much fun experiencing Linelight ’s elegance as I did creating it.”

Key features include:

  • Bask in the soft glow of a world made out of straight lines

  • Experience 6 hours of pure, unadulterated gameplay

  • Solve more than 250 different puzzles across six unique worlds

  • Enjoy a Zen-like, ethereal soundtrack, and enter a state of flow

  • Explore the intricacies of each world to uncover secret challenges

Linelight will hit Steam, Playstation 4 and Xbox One in early 2017, though a release date is yet to be announced.
