It’s still quite a long while before Loop8: Summer of Gods is launched. This early though, there’s one more reason to get excited about this original time-travel RPG. XSEED Games announced that it’ll be releasing a limited Celestial Edition for $69.99.
Loop8: Summer of Gods Celestial Edition comes in a custom box and the following:
- A 5.25” by 7.25” softcover “Ashihara Town Guide.” It contains more than 50 pages of artwork and information from the game.
- Musical selections CD with select songs from the soundtrack.
- A 7” by 10.5” mini wall scroll.
- An authentic 4” by 3.15” Japanese wooden ema as an offering for the in-game Ashihara Shrine.
If the Celestial Edition is too pricey for you, then you can just get the digital edition for $49.99.
What is Loop8: Summer of Gods all about? It’s a coming-of-age adventure that follows Nini and his classmates on their journey to defeat the Kegai. The Kegai are demonic entities responsible for pushing humanity to the brink of extinction. Raised on a failed space station named “Hope,” Nini returns to earth to spend the summer in Ashihara, one of the last remaining sanctuaries of humanity. He has a gift known as “Demon Sight” that lets him use his special connection to the gods and reset the world.
