Good news for those who enjoy making virtual versions of themselves have sex in video games - Mass Effect: Andromeda will feature romance options. And they will be quite steamy, if Senior Cinematic Animator Tal Peleg’s recent tweet is to be believed. Paleg was recently brought on to spice up BioWare’s love scenes, which, if we’re being honest, were sorely lacking in believability.
But that’s not all, obviously, as there are more important things in life than simulated orgasms. Mass Effect: Andromeda is apparently ramping up the difficulty, with developers working to create challenging new enemies to battle. Lead Designer Ian Frazier teased “a very, very large new foe” to face players.
As you can tell by the phrasing, “Another creature,” it appears that Frazier and his team are had at work at developing a plethora of new rivals for Mass Effect: Andromeda. Defeating those obstacles should help improve the new “character progression” that Frazier speaks of. It’s been over four years since the release of Mass Effect 3, and gamers are waiting patiently to see how much the franchise’s AI have progressed.
Actual gameplay footage from Mass Effect: Andromeda has yet to be revealed, but with E3 coming up in June, the game’s official debut will hopefully arrive soon. In the meantime, take a look at the inspiring N7 Day trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda, below:
