Mortal Kombat XL launches today as the compilation of the best fighting game of 2015, with all of its DLC and updates included, is available to download and purchase for Xbox One and PS4.
And NetherRealm Studios has released a launch trailer to get players hyped and ready for all of the new content in Mortal Kombat X. Check it out.
The next iteration of Mortal Kombat will have the first four fighters from Kombat Pack 1, which include Predator, Jason Voorhees, Tremor and Tanya. It also includes all of the skin packs that came with those purchases.
But the biggest addition in the launch of Mortal Kombat XL are the Kombat Pack 2 fighters. Players can now fight as Leatherface, Alien, Triborg and Bo rai Cho and have access to the new skin packs including the Cosplay pack.
Mortal Kombat XL also marks the return of stage fatalities. A stage for The Pit was created and a new stage fatality for the Kove stage was also added Mortal Kombat XL. There’s more ways than ever to dismember your opponents now, so take advantage of that M-rating.
On Monday, a huge update for owners of Mortal Kombat X was released that included the data for the new stages and fighters as NetherRealm prepared for the launch of Mortal Kombat XL and the rest of the updates that came with it.
Mortal Kombat XL is available to purchase or download for $59.99 while Mortal Kombat X owners can buy the XL Pack for $24.99, which includes everything from Kombat Pack 1 onwards.
However, if you already had a season pass or purchased Kombat Pack 1 previously you can simply purchase the Kombat Pack 2 DLC for $19.99.
