Split over two nights in New York City, the first night of the ‘The Music of David Bowie’, a tribute concert series to the late pop singer went off to a smashing success. Pitchfork has been kind enough to assemble a list of social media posts for those who missed it (The Roots got into a huff about something).
The second night is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. EST April 1. Interested parties can livestream the event taking place at Radio City Music Hall via this web page here, although be aware, it will not be viewable for free.
Instead, anybody not fortunate enough to purchase a ticket to the tribute before they sold out will have to donate at least $5 to be able to view a livestream of the concert, made possible by Skype. To donate at least $5 and watch the livestream, navigate to this web page . Donors will receive an email containing the link to the livestream once the concert begins. The average donation, according to the website, is currently $18 per person, $13 more than the minimum required.
