It looks like the fight between the Organics and Robotics are back in Rainbow Six Siege. MUTE Protocol 3 Redux is here and to run until July 31. This limited-time event has players fight against each other in Arms Race. It's a game mode that's similar to team deathmatch but with a twist.
That's not all since this version of the MUTE Protocol Collection has been updated with the introduction of three new cosmetic bundles which are Glaz, Alibi, and Brava. But wait, there's more! There are also four updated bundles with Oryx, Lion, Vigil, and Ying. These free cosmetics can be unlocked during the event by logging in or finishing weekly challenges. Players can also get it through Twitch Drops.
Join the Arms Race
The Arms Race is a mode where all players get to start with the same weapon. Then each time they eliminate an enemy, they're immediately given a new weapon. Players need to climb their way through the weapon tiers until they reach the peak. There they'll be given the golden hammer that they have to use to smash the brain case and win the round. The first team that wins two rounds obtains the victory.
All of the action plays out on the MUTE Comm Tower version of the Tower map. By the way, each subsequent round takes place on a higher floor than the last. In addition, with respawning enabled and power-ups available to accelerate the action, there's no question that Arms Race is a fast-paced mode.
New Bundles
The MUTE Protocol Collection splits the Siege Operators between Organics and Robotics. These are Glaz and Brava for Organics and Alibi for Robotics. Meanwhile, four of the previous Robotics bundles, which are Oryx, Lion, Vigil, and Ying, are also available and have been updated for this event. Players able to collect all seven bundles get the exclusive dynamic Memento MP5K weapon skin.
