Season 6 of NBA 2K23 is here at last. For players who are also basketball fans, this is a good time considering that the NBA Playoffs is just around the corner and the new WNBA season is about to start. The highlights of this new season are Luka Dončić and Sue Bird.
There are also new rewards offered this season and it's packed with Player Banners and Jumpshot Meters, among others. Everyone can look forward as well to the Level 30 Jetpack (New Gen) with new animations and Level 40 Glider (New Gen) and GOAT Mascot (Current Gen). There are new Green Release Animations and Medieval Armor Set too!
The NBA 2K franchise has long featured some of the best real-world brands. For Season 6, the development team revealed that they've partnered with Homage and MAYDE to experience the already diverse list of brands in the game.
Customization Options
When it comes to creating the ideal MyPLAYER, there are new customization options available for players. For those who can remember back in Season 3, Core Badge Patterns were introduced on New Gen, which gave players a unique way to utilize badges and come up with patterns specific to their playstyle.
This season, players can expect the Core Badge Pattern Package 2 offered as a reward for Level 39. The available Core Badge Patterns are:
- 2 Finishing, 1 Shooting, 1 Defense
- 2 Shooting, 1 Finishing, 1 Defense
- 2 Playmaking, 1 Finishing, 1 Shooting
- 2 Defense, 1 Shooting, 1 Playmaking
Hero Cards
Players should be happy to know that heroes are now back in MyTEAM. To help them get started, everyone receives Shaquille O’Neal. As a Level 1 reward, players can redeem their first hero card by joining the MyTEAM season menu during Season 6. By the way, the Ruby-rated Shaq holds a unique power. When players complete his evolution requirements, the Level 1 card evolves up to a formidable Diamond-rated beast to lock down the paint for the lineups.
