According to new information from Wccftech, Nvidia's next-generation SUPER graphics cards could be making their way to laptops in May. There seems to be an embargo on this information, which is scheduled to lift on March 31. The information also states that alongside Nvidia's new mobility GPUs, Intel will also announce its 10th generation mobility CPUs.
Nvidia and Intel have teamed up to announce this news along with Intel's 10th generation mobility CPU launch. Nvidia will also be launching six new GPU chips at the same price point to replace the older variants. This allows gamers to access high-tier power without having to increase their budget.
Let's take a look at all six of the mobility GPUs that are set to arrive soon:
GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6 Mobility GPU
The GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GPU will be replacing the current GTX 1050 3GB GDDR5 GPU in most entry-level gaming notebooks. Not only is the GTX 1650 much powerful than the GTX 1050, but it also comes with an additional gigabyte of VRAM.
GeForce GTX 1650 Ti 4GB GDDR6 Mobility GPU
The GeForce GTX 1650 Ti 4GB GDDR6 will be replacing the current GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5 variant. In comparison to the GTX 1650 4GB DDR5, the GTX 1650 Ti 4GB DDR6 will have a higher CUDA core count and ship with faster GDDR6 memory.
GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6 Mobility GPU
The RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6 will be replacing the older RTX 2060 GPU. However, this new GPU seems to be the SUPER variant with a higher clock speed.
GeForce RTX 2070 8GB GDDR6 Mobility GPU
Similarly, a new variant of RTX 2070 will be replacing the current RTX 2060 8GB vanilla GPU, without much difference in pricing on the newer laptops. This version of the RTX 2070 is expected to have higher clock speeds.
GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8GB GDRR6 Mobility GPU
Just like the one mentioned above, the RTX 2070 SUPER will replace the base version of RTX 2070. However, laptops with the RTX 2070 SUPER GPU are going to be much more powerful pieces of tech available for the same budget.
GeForce RTX 2080 8GB GDDR6 Mobility GPU
Finally, the RTX 2080 SUPER will replace the current vanilla variant of RTX 2080. The RTX 2080 SUPER will be a much powerful GPU at roughly the same price point.
