A new update has been released for Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds which introduces new content, updated features, and events. One of these is the introduction of the Relic War where kingdoms need to conquer different locations on the map.
In this mode, the kingdom with the most points after occupying multiple locations is declared the winner and receives the “Relic” with buff attributes. That means during Relic War, players need to develop different kinds of strategies by setting up the barricade and making use of Neutral Monsters.
In addition, the Fiery Mt. Know-How map has been added to the Dimensional Border content. Players can also now use the new ride Dingo, which resembles a wolf.
Aside from the new content, players have the chance to join in-game events that include:
- Episode Eve! Prepare for the Ancient Genie! Event
- Players who manage to clear various missions receive rewards based on accumulated points.
- These include, among others, a 4-star Toko which could be helpful to players throughout the further episodes.
- New Dimensional Border Treasure Hunt event
- After clearing the Dimensional Border, players can get the Compass.
- This is the ticket to start the Treasure Hunt event.
- Players get to open the slots, where the most-wanted rewards (Equipment Summon Coupon, Energy Drink, and more) are placed.
Events Extended
Two events were launched a while back to form a stable market and establish healthy circulation of the NKT and MBX ecosystems in the game. These were the NKT Fixed Exchange Rate and Buyback and Burn Event. The Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds team revealed that because of the support they received, the two events have been extended for an additional week from June 27 to July 4.
For those new to the game, here are the details:
- Fixed Exchange Rate Event
- The token exchange rate for Territe > NKT is fixed for the duration of each event round.
- The fixed exchange rate is announced every Monday and may be subject to change according to market conditions.
- Buyback and Burn
- During the event period, 100% of Black Diamond sales generated via the NKT exchange are invested for market stabilization.
- 100% of the NKT purchased during the stabilization process is burned after the event to avoid affecting market circulation.
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is available on PC, Android, and iOS.
