Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection is now accepting preorders, though for now, only for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The title is actually composed of three games, which should treat longtime fans and even new players. The Collection is also set to be released on Nintendo Switch and PC but preorders for these versions will happen at a later date.
The Ninja Gaiden series had its start with the first game released back in 1988. For the games in the Collection, it includes:
- Ninja Gaiden Sigma
- Released in 2007, it was similar to the original version but with some improvements.
- The game managed to set the high-speed action the series is later known for.
- It also introduced dual-wielding weapons and Mission Mode.
- Ninja Gaiden 2
- Released in 2008, the game offered four levels of difficulty.
- Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge
- This game was released in 2012 and upped the challenge with strong new enemies.
Features of this upcoming Collection include:
- Get to enjoy a timeless yet nostalgic action that unfolds on the latest hardware.
- Many of the previously released game modes and DLC costumes for each title are included.
- In addition to Ryu Hayabusa, each of the other characters have a variety of costumes to choose from, allowing for action-packed battles in the outfit of the player’s choice.
- Get access to four iconic female characters: Ayane, Rachel, Momiji, and Kasumi.
In addition to the three games, the Deluxe Edition of the Ninjas Gaiden: Master Collection also comes with:
- A digital art book that has more than 70 pages.
- A game soundtrack that includes at least 180 tracks.
Those who preorder the game will receive preorder bonuses, and available for pre-ordered Standard Edition or Digital Deluxe version. Benefits include:
