The NES Classic, the reimagined NES console small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, was announced yesterday and people are excited to play their favorite game classics all over again. While the console ships with 30 games, it looks like that’s all you will be able to play.

According to IGN, the NES Classic will not support Nintendo’s Virtual Console, cannot connect to the internet and cannot use external storage. In other words, the 30 games you get at launch with the NES Classic are the 30 games you get to play forever on it.

When asked if the NES Classic would be supporting My Nintendo or a Nintendo Account, the company said there was nothing to announced at the time. Nintendo also would not disclose the physical dimensions of the NES Classic.

This surely will seem pretty lame to gamers who originally saw the console and dreamed of owning every NES game released on one cool box. Thanks to the console’s limitations, it seems players will only be getting the included games, so no ROM support or even legal purchasing here, friends.

The 30 games players will get with the NES Classic are as follows:

  • Balloon Fight

  • Bubble Bobble

  • Castlevania

  • Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest

  • Donkey Kong

  • Donkey Kong Jr.

  • Double Dragon II

  • Dr. Mario

  • Excitebike

  • Final Fantasy

  • Galaga

  • Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins

  • Gradius

  • Ice Climber

  • Kid Icarus

  • Kirby’s Adventure

  • Mario Bros.

  • Mega Man 2

  • Metroid

  • Ninja Gaiden

  • Pac-man

  • Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream

  • StarTropics

  • SUPER C

  • Super Mario Bros.

  • Super Mario Bros. 2

  • Super Mario Bros. 3

  • Tecmo Bowl

  • The Legend of Zelda

  • Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

So what do you think? Are you interested in the NES Classic now that you know you can’t get more games? Are you interested in any of the 30 games included with the console? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
