One Piece: Burning Blood sets sail May 31 (June 3 in Europe) and Bandai Namco has released a brand new trailer showcasing some new game modes and the battle style of Burning Blood.

In the latest trailer for Burning Blood, there’s an explanation of the battle system that includes 3-on-3 fights (similar to Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 ) and creating combos using Guard Breaks, Skill Cancels etc…

Check out the brand new One Piece: Burning Blood trailer below.

The new trailer has more than just a lot of gameplay footage and an explanation of the battle system. There’s also a rundown of the different game modes players can explore.

Free mode is a versus mode where players set up their own battle variables, Online mode sees players fight others from around the world and Paramount War mode allows players to experience the Marineford Arc of the One Piece story from different character perspectives. This mode was revealed with a trailer back in February.

Of course, there’s also a training mode that allows players to hone their battle skills and a Cooperative Play mode that lets two players team up in offline battles using two controllers.

However, the newly announced WANTED Versus mode gives players a chance to collect bounties through various challenges. You’ll be asked to defeat different One Piece characters while completing certain tasks during each battle.

On top of all that goodness, Burning Blood will have 60 support characters that will help you in battle. While these characters aren’t playable, they can give your fighter various buffs, attack, defend and even heal you. It seems to be similar to the way Pokken Tournament handles support characters.
