This week’s Famitsu includes a 30-page launch feature for Persona 5, with a wealth of information on the early stages of Atlus’s latest JRPG, including maps and gameplay tips. But what immediately caught our eye was a VERY familiar face.

Warning: spoilers ahead! Get ‘em before Atlus puts the clamp down.

One of the Persona 5 images shows the protagonist walking around an indoor shopping center, stopping in front of a large poster promoting the latest release from a pretty, brown-haired singer in a flowing blue dress. Her eyes are closed and the album is titled ‘Sapphire.’

Have you guessed it? It’s Inaba’s beloved pop idol, tofu shop employee and amateur exotic dancer -- Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4! Maru-Q alert!

The new image from Persona 5 seems to be more in keeping with Rise’s appearance in the recent P4 spin-off, Dancing All Night, judging from her longer hairstyle.

From this single image, it’s not clear whether or not Rise will have a more substantial role in Persona 5, though it’s certainly possible her cameo will extend beyond a mere poster. In Persona 4, the characters visited Tatsumi Port Island, the primary setting of Persona 3, and Rise mentioned having been there before to perform a concert. (Remember the Kings Game?) It’s possible Persona 5 could see a similar crossover, particularly given its Tokyo setting.

Persona Central has posted scans of the entire the Famitsu feature, which are well worth a look.

Persona 5 hits stores in Japan this week, where it is already getting solid reviews. The game debuts in North America and Europe on Feb. 14, 2017. Gotta have more Persona in the meantime? Check out our guide to everything we know about the Phantom Thieves.
