Konami is gearing up to release Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 Data Pack 3 on Feb.9. This update will affect players who play PES 2017 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
One of the biggest pieces of news in Data Pack 3 is that myClub mode will be available to play in PES 2017 Trial Edition, which is free. MyClub is PES 2017’s answer to EA Sports FIFA’s Ultimate Team, which allows players to put together a team of both current and legendary players. After the selection of your team, you can take your team online to compete against other myClub teams. On the surface, it would seem that FIFA has the edge between the modes due to the amount of teams they have at its disposal. However PES’ myClub mode is a beloved aspect of the PES 2017 as more players are being added almost monthly.
Data Pack 3 will also include:
- Over 100 new and updated player faces from current squads and legendary players
- Eight classic Borussia Dortmund strips from 1975-2012
- New pitch side hoardings
- New adidas ball featured in the upcoming 2016/2017 UEFA Champions League final
- New boots from Nike, adidas and Puma
PES 2017 has benefitted from having competitions that FIFA 17 does no, such as the UEFA Champions, Europa Leagues and the AFC Champions League. Even without the exorbitant amount of teams that FIFA has, Konami did a masterful job of attempting to hide that fact by getting into exclusive partnerships with legendary clubs such as FC Barcelona, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund. PES 2017 is the little engine that could with a game that many call the best soccer game on the market.
