Phantasy Star Online 2 is slated to make its official debut in the U.S. in Spring 2020. Considered as one of the greatest online RPGs in Japan, the game will be launched as an exclusive on Xbox One.
The game is expected to have a free-to-play release and include all previously released stories and content, as well as the epic battles that fans love. So what is Phantasy Star Online 2 all about?
In the game, players become a member of the “Arks,” which are research expeditions sent by a fleet of interplanetary cruising ships. The goal is to perform research on the different planets. Visiting places for the mission always results in a fresh and surprising adventure. These include sudden events and auto-generated maps. There is even a Multiplayer Party Area where a maximum of 12 players can play at the same time.
Each quest and planet brings out different characters and different enemy battles. The control system is easy enough to ensure that players get to experience intense exhilaration in battles along with highly strategic and customizable actions.
In Phantasy Star Online 2, players get to experience fighting gigantic boss enemies? How large? Well some of them can cover the entire screen. Players can team up with others to take on these epic bosses and make the fight a little easier.
Customization is one highlight of PSO2, and the Character Creation System is intuitive and easy to use. Customization is not limited to accessories, costumes, and hairstyles. Players can change the height of their characters and even their body shape. The thickness and length of the arms and legs can even be modified. These allow for an unlimited mix of customization and design.
Phantasy Star Online 2 will be free to download and play for the Xbox One. In addition, players are assured that the game experience has no limitation like Class Level cap. Direct purchase of high-tier weapons is limited as well. The reason is that they give all players an experience that is not only exciting, but one that is fair.
Phantasy Star Online 2 was first released to the PC back in July 2012. A PlayStation Vita version was released by 2013 and for PlayStation 4 in 2016. All of these versions are exclusive to Japan, and only the PC and Xbox One versions will make the jump to America for now.
