Plants vs Zombies Heroes is getting a snazzy and substantial holiday update for players to earn some awesome new cards.
In the brand new holiday update, which is out now, these new Plants vs Zombies Heroes cards are available to earn by completing Weekly Events. These events are another brand new feature coming to the mobile game that will reward players who continually play the game and complete certain tasks.
Every week, a new card will be available to unlock, which you can view by accessing the Weekly Event screen. To earn the card, you just need to play and win games. You'll earn Tickets for each game you win, and once you've earned enough Tickets, the card is yours. This can be repeated four times every week, so you'll be able to get four copies of the card to use in your decks.
Every single-player win gives 10 tickets while every multiplayer win rewards 15 tickets.
If you’re strapped for time, you can unlock these cards by using your Gems.
To help players win tickets faster, a Ticket Boost is also implemented in Plants vs Zombies Heroes . Your Boost fills every four hours and to activate that Boost, you'll need to win a game with a Hero that leads at least one of the classes featured that week. (Every week, two Plant Classes and two Zombie Classes will be selected to trigger bonus Tickets.) Win games with the Plant or Zombie Heroes that lead those Classes and you'll see your Ticket winnings multiply.
So what are the new cards you can win in the holiday update? There have been two cards revealed (so far). The first is Regifting Zombie, which when played lets both players draw two cards.
The second new card is Jolly Holly, which will freeze any zombie in the lanes next to it and is Amphibious.
The Feastivus Bundle pack is also available to purchase in the store and comes with a Jolly Holly, a Valkyrie, a Winter Squash and 15 additional cards. The Feastivus Mega Bundle contains four Feastivus Bundles, and a bonus Kernel Corn.
