Before Community Day arrives, trainers can enjoy the Power Plant Event. This one started January 19 and runs until February 1. This event marks the debut of Helioptile and Heliolisk in the game. To get Heliolisk, trainers need to evolve Helioptile by using 50 Helioptile Candy and a Sun Stone.
For this event, trainers can expect to see Team GO Rocket appearing more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons. Trainers can also use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration. Read more about this event here.
