The latest Mythical Pokémon to be distributed for the Pokémon 20th Anniversary is the Water type Manaphy. Manaphy will be distributed from June 1 -24 and can be downloaded onto either your Pokémon X or Y games or Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games.
And yes, Manaphy will be distributed via the Mystery Gift like many of the Mythical Pokémon have this year and unlike the Darkrai GameStop distribution that was going on in May.
So how do you download Manaphy onto your Pokémon X and Y or ORAS games?
You’ll need to boot up your game and go to the MYSTERY GIFT tab. Select RECEIVE GIFT and then GET VIA INTERNET. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be given your own special Celebi; just be sure you’re in a spot that has a good internet connection.
This special Manaphy comes at level 100 like the others with only three attacks. The first is Tail Glow, which raises your Manaphy’s special attack by two stages. Bubble and Water Sport round out its moveset but you’ll likely want to teach it some TMs or HMs if you want to bring out your Manaphy into battle.
