Darkrai isn’t the only Pokémon being distributed in May, The Pokémon Company has released a surprise Zygarde mystery gift distribution for trainers to “catch” this Kalos Legendary.
According to Serebii , this is the same Zygarde that was distributed via Mystery Gift in Japan last year and Korea earlier in 2016. Europe had the Zygarde distribution first on Friday and North American trainers finally received the distribution hours after that.
This Zygarde doesn’t have anything special about it, namely no new moves or abilities, but it’s still a Legendary Pokémon at level 100 so if you haven’t caught one in your Pokémon X or Y game, this is perfect time to receive the Dragon/Ground-type.
Zygarde comes with its signature move, Land’s Wrath, along with Extreme Speed, Glare and Outrage.
It should also be noted that it seems this Zygarde will have three perfect IVs. So if you’re in the business of soft resetting your Pokémon game to get the ideal nature and IVs, this is what you should be aware of.
To get your surprise Zygarde, all you have to do is boot up your Pokémon game and then hit the Mystery Gift tab. Click Get Via Internet and your Zygarde should appear. Then when you enter your game, go to your closest Pokémon Center and speak with the woman in blue. She’ll give you your Zygarde but only if you have a spot open in your party.
Please note, that if you want to soft reset and try and get the IVs/Nature you desire, save right before speaking with the lady and then check your Zygarde’s stats. If you’re happy with the Zygarde feel free to save, but don’t save before you check because then you won’t be able to reset and try again.
