The Pokken Tournament DX demo for the Nintendo Switch is available now in the Nintendo eShop all over the world. Currently, there is a 15-match limit to the Pokken Tournament DX demo, but there is an exploit to get around it.
First, you need to download the Pokken Tournament DX demo from the eShop. You can find it by going to the Coming Soon tab and scrolling down until you find Pokken Tournament DX. Select the game and download the demo.
Now that the demo is downloaded onto your Switch, you can go ahead and play your 15 matches. But once those matches are complete, you will be told that you cannot play anymore. To get around this, simply delete the demo software from your Switch.
To delete the Pokken Tournament DX demo, go to your system settings and then to Manage Software. Find the Pokken Tournament DX demo and select Delete Software. Once you delete the software, go back to the Nintendo eShop and redownload the software. This will reset your match limit. If you want to continue to receive more matches, you can continually delete and redownload the demo as many times as you want.
Nintendo may fix this exploit in the future, so be sure to take advantage of it now. Currently, there are only three characters to choose from in the Pokken Tournament DX demo: Pikachu, Empoleon and Charizard. More characters will likely be unlocked as we get closer to the release date.
Pokken Tournament DX is a port of the Wii U version, along with the DLC characters that were included in the arcade version of the game. Decidueye was also added exclusively for the Nintendo Switch version, so players can enjoy a brand new character at launch.
Pokken Tournament DX will release for Nintendo Switch on Sept. 22.
