Original story is as follows...
Two of the free games for PS+ subscribers in December have leaked early. This information comes both from the PlayStation Saudi Arabia YouTube channel as well as a screenshot found on a Polish PS4.
The two confirmed games for December are Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition and Kung Fu Panda: Showdown Of Legendary Legends . Both games will be free for PS4 users. Darksiders 2 is an action-adventure game designed similarly to the Zelda franchise. It has been given the 1080p shine for current-gen consoles with the Deathinitive Edition, along with higher quality textures and other improvements. The Deathinitive Edition also includes all previously released Darksiders 2 DLC. Kung Fu Panda: Showdown Of Legendary Legends, originally released in 2015, is a fighting game featuring Po and the rest of the cast of the Kung Fu Panda movies.
While it’s possible the screenshot could be faked, creating an entire fake video to upload onto a real channel is much more of a challenge. This means the leak is likely accurate, though there could be a different line-up of PS+ games coming to North American audiences, so it’s best to wait until the official PlayStation accounts make an announcement before getting too excited. Sony typically waits until the beginning of the month to make PS+ announcements, so expect to hear an official announcement by the end of the week.
Another reason to wait for the official announcement is for the rest of the free games. We still don’t know what PSVR, PS3 and PS Vita users will get. If history is any indicator, the PS Vita games will likely be cross-buy compatible, meaning they will also be available for PS4 as well.
So what do you think? Are you excited to play either Darksiders 2 or Kung Fu Panda: Showdown Of Legendary Legends on PS4? What other games would you like to see included in the December 2017 batch of free PS+ games? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
