PUBG Mobile Adds RageGear Mode In Newest Update

PUBG Mobile released its latest content update, version 0.16.0, which introduces a new mode called RageGear. There's also going to be new maps, abilities, and gear. Players should also look forward to the new collaboration content with Angry Birds, which is celebrating its 10th birthday today.

New Mode

In this new EvoGround mode, players are divided into two factions and assigned to be either the driver or shooter of a vehicle. Each vehicle has a powerful weapon mounted on it, which include the Gatling, Shotgun, and RPG, among others. Things to remember in this new mode are:

  • RageGear TDM
    • Players must destroy enemy vehicles to earn points.
    • The team that reaches the score limit first takes home the chicken dinner.
  • RageGear PickUp
    • Players must collect a certain number of Point Crates to win
    • However, if their vehicle is destroyed they lose all Crates.

Collaboration Content

Angry Birds was first released in December 11, 2009. This casual puzzle video game was first released for iOS and Maemo devices and has since sold more than 12 million copies. For this collaboration, players have the chance to unlock crossover items and even enjoy a mini-game. This game takes players to Spawn Island where they can throw Angry Birds bombs. Complete missions in the Angry Birds Adventure event in order to get rewards.

Other New Features:

Additional features that arrives with the new update are:

  • Snow Paradise
    • When queueing for Erangel in Classic mode, players can enter Snow Paradise, where the Spawn Island is covered in white frost.
    • Players also have the chance to ride cable car lifts and snowboards once they drop into the map.
  • Healing Mobility
    • Players can now use health kits, boost items and adrenaline syringes even when, though movement speed is greatly reduced.
    • Bandages meanwhile can now be automatically used in succession.
  • Loadouts
    • A new loadout screen has been added to Team Death Match Mode for players to edit and customize their starting weapons.
    • Each firearm can be unlocked at a different Evo Leve, and all offer mastery levels for additional attachments.
  • Perspectives Button
    • While in Third Person Perspective (TPP), players can now toggle in and out of First Person Perspective(FPP) with a new button.
    • This can be done in Classic, Arcade and Training Grounds.
  • New Sliding Mechanic
    • Players now have the option to enable or disable character sliding when in Team Death Match mode
  • Firearm Balances
    • Players
      • In Classic mode, adjustments have been made to multiple weapons in order to have more balanced gameplay, including:
        • Bolt-Action Rifles: Damage to torso increased by 30%
        • AWM: Bullet damage reduced from 132 to 120
        • Crossbow: Damage to torso and limbs increased 40% and 20%, respectively
        • S12K: Bullet damage increased from 22 to 24
        • Sawed-off: Bullet damage increased from 20 to 22
        • S686/S1897: Bullet damage increased from 24 to
        • 26
        • Shotguns: Maximum bullet distance reduced from 1,000 to 150 meter
        • Duckbill: Increased vertical bullet spread and reduced horizontal spread

Additional Features

New miscellaneous features have been added, which include performance balances, a spectator tier limit, backpack ornaments and the ability to report friendly-fire kills in-game.

PUBG Mobile earned the 2019 Google Play Best Competitive and Users Choice awards. It was also named in the Top Games of 2019 by the App Store. This means that PUBG Mobile has won the best game of the year for two consecutive years.
