Rainbow Six Siege Regional Leagues are Back, Starting June 15

Ubisoft recently announced the return of the regional leagues for LATAM, North America, Europe, and APAC. Teams will represent and compete for their regions and the top four from each region will qualify for the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege August Major.

Regional leagues will be really exciting as almost every team across regions has made roster changes.

North America

DarkZero Esports from North America is bringing two players into the main roster, Brandon "BC" Carr and Roberto "Panbazou" Feliciano are respectively replacing Alexander "Skys" Magor and Kyle "Mint" Lander. SpaceStation Gaming has finally signed Matthew "Hotancold" Stevens as their fifth player following Troy "Canadian" Jaroslawski's retirement from the competitive scene.

North American teams consist of DarkZero Esports, Disrupt Gaming, Oxygen Esports, SpaceStation Gaming, Susquehanna Soniqs, Team SoloMid, beastcoast, XSET, and Mirage. Their regional matches will be played on LAN in Las Vegas with a prize pool of $50,000.

Europe

Virtus.Pro from Europe is bringing in Andrey "Andreezy" Bavian to replace Artem "wTg" Morozov. There are some rumored roster changes in the European league, however, nothing's been confirmed yet. So, we will have to wait until the league starts to find more details on these rumored roster changes.

The European teams consist of Team Vitality, Cowana Gaming, Natus Vincere, Team Secret, Team Empire, BDS Esports, Virtus.Pro, G2 Esports, Rogue, and TrainHard eSports. Regional stage 2 matches will be played in a single round-robin format and with a prize pool of 50,000 Euro.

APAC and LATAM

APAC North and South teams, on the other hand, include Cloud9, CYCLOPS athlete gaming, Fnatic, FAV Gaming, GUTS Gaming, DAMWON Gaming, Talon Esports, T1, Qconfirm, Elevate, Seventh Heaven, Chiefs Esports Club, Knights, ORDER, and Wildcard Gaming.

LATAM teams consist of Black Dragons e-Sports, FaZe Clan, INTZ, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Liquid, Team oNe eSports, and Made in Brazil.

The August Major will have 16 teams from various regions fight for $500,000 with group stages played in a single-elimination format.
