The West isn’t all about the fighting and for some players there’s joy in being able to search for and collect rarities and artifacts. Starting today and until May 25, Red Dead Online is giving everyone who returns the complete set of American Wildflowers to Madam Nazar an extra 50% bonus. That’s not all as those who log in anytime this week can get the American Wildflower map for free.
Those new to game should know that travelling the West is often better with good company. The good news is that for this week, players have the best chance of joining with others. This is because all Permanent Posse creation fees have been waived all the way to June 8.
Speaking of new players, those under Rank 40 can get a Camp Dog or Horse at a 40% discount. It’s always good to be prepared as well and proper equipment includes a Pennington Field Shovel, Reinforced Binoculars, and Metal Detector. All three of these are available at 40% off.
Moving to this week’s update, there’s also limited-time clothing available at The Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue. Don’t take too long since these clothing items are only offered until May 25. These are:
- The Tasman
- The Danube
- Manteca Hat
- Cossack Hat
- Boutell Hat
- Irwin Coat
For this week, Twitch Prime members receive the Polished Copper Moonshine and Collector’s Bag. They also get credited with five Moonshiner Role Ranks. If you want to get these offers, then get a Twitch Prime account and connect it to your Rockstar Social Club account.
There’s also something for PlayStation Plus Members. This week they get the fisherman’s starter pack which includes five Special Lake Lures, five Special Swamp Lures, and five Special River Lures. That’s not all as they also get a Treasure Map of the North Clingman area.
COVID-19 Relief
Rockstar Games started a COVID-19 relief drive which is expected to last until the end of May. For this drive, five percent of revenue earned from purchases made in Red Dead Online and GTA Online are going to be donated to relief efforts. In particular, the funds received are going to be used to help local businesses and communities that have been struggling with the effect of the pandemic.
