Funny how Red Dead Redemption 2 is slated to be the year's biggest game, yet Rockstar has shared so little about it. Still, this isn't stopping speculators from making out some sort of idea from the little information we have. According to reports from a Polish retailer, the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date could be on Oct. 3. The report was shared on Reddit:
"On Polish website of Media Markt (big chain of electronics stores) today showed up a RDR 2 product to preorder," said redditor Adakam8323.

"After an e-mail the respond from Media Markt was clear: 'I would like to inform you that our marketing department was informed by a distributor of the game that its airing date is 3rd of October 2017.'"
Adakam8323 also shared the link to the whole RDR2 story via a report from CDAction, which is also in Polish. And while he warns the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date may vary from country to country, it's also possible that the distributor's date is a worldwide premiere as well.
Rockstar probably won't respond to this report and will opt to eventually make an announcement when the team is good and ready. Still, we expect Red Dead Redemption 2 is on schedule for its anticipated fall 2017 release. Stay tuned as we hope to learn more in the months ahead.
