The Baker family doesn’t ask much from their guests. All you need to is eat some rotting meat and let them chase you around their house for a bit. No big deal.
The latest trailer for Resident Evil 7 biohazard might be less intense than the others, but not any less creepy. The narrator talks about home being a welcoming place as creepy images of the Baker house flash by. Check out the trailer above for the latest Resident Evil 7 biohazard teaser.
Who are the Bakers? Just a family full of crazy immortal people who love torturing the fools who dare enter their residence. You’ll learn more about the Bakers when Resident Evil 7 biohazard is released on Jan. 24, but Producer Masachika Kawata has purposely kept details about the game under wraps.
Kawata explained to Game Informer back in December why Capcom decided to release less information about the game this time around. Resident Evil 7 biohazard won’t be your typical Resident Evil game. For example, there’s no real protagonist and everything will be in first-person.
“In order to fully enjoy a horror title, we don't think it's good to release too much information beforehand,” Kawata told Game Informer . “What's hidden in the darkness? Who are the enemies? How do I escape? These are questions we would prefer to leave unanswered before the player experiences the game, so that they can uncover things on their own. As a result, we understand some fans have questions about the contents of the game, but we assure you that we're ready to deliver a Resident Evil horror experience of the utmost quality.”
Don’t worry, Kawata promised there will be plenty of the jump scares, thrills and creepy moments you’ve grown to love. There will also be plenty of puzzles and secrets to unlock in Resident Evil 7 biohazard . Excited to meet the Bakers? Let us know what you think about the trailer in the video below.
