The best way to describe Rocket League is like a soccer game that uses rocket-powered vehicles. The game was first released in 2015 and then became free-to-play by September 2020. Rocket League has a professional esports scene through ESL and Major League Gaming. There is also the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS), which is organized by Psyonix.
