Good news for Rocket League Sideswipe players! Season 2 drops today and introduces a lot of interesting content like new Season Challenges, new Rocket Pass, and the new Volleyball Mode. The new season also means that Competitive Ranks are going to be reset.
Before we take a look into what Season 2 has to offer. It's important to remember that with Season 1 coming to a close, players can now get their rewards like the season-exclusive Titles and Quick Chat Stickers. The rewards are based on the peak rank the player reached in Season 1.
Season 2 introduces the high-flying Volleyball Mode, which replaces the Hoops modes of Season 1. This 2v2 mode features a new ball and central net but no goals. To score, players simply need to make sure that the ball hits the ground.
Another new feature is the Casual Playlists. It's the same one as in Rocket League and allows players to compete in different game modes without fear of it having an effect on their rank.
New Items
The new season of Rocket League Sideswipe also brings some of the favorite items in Rocket League. There are the Supernova and Dueling Dragons Goal Explosions. Players can also try to get their hands on the Sunset 1986 Wheels and the Breakout Car. These are just some of the things that everyone can enjoy.
Be sure to keep your SP full since there are many painted items making their way into the Item Shop throughout Season 2.
