Season 1 of Rocket League Sideswipe has officially started, and there’s a lot to be excited about. If you’re wondering, this is a standalone mobile game for Android and iOS devices.
So what can players expect with this inaugural season? There’s the Rocket League Crossover Event where players can complete challenges in Sideswipe and in return, unlock items in the main Rocket League game. Players can also log in to Sideswipe using the same Epic Games Account they have for Rocket League and finish two challenges to unlock:
- Nuhai Inverted Wheels
- Wow! Goal Explosion in Rocket League and Sideswipe
The challenges mentioned are only available until January 25. By the way, don’t forget to unlock “Water Resistant” by Anamanaguchi which can be used as a Player Anthem in Rocket League. To get this one, just log in to Sideswipe before the date mentioned.
With Season 1 now live, the Competitive Ranks have been reset and the first Rocket Pass is ready to go. Play Ranked Online Matches and be sure to bring your A-game. That’s because when you win in Competitive Matches, your Rank increases while losing means dropping.
Soundtrack
One of the things that makes playing Rocket League exciting is the high-energy soundtrack, and that’s available as well in Sideswipe. Here are some of the tracks you can enjoy in the official soundtrack, which is set to be released soon:

Rocket League Sideswipe is a free mobile game and a Rocket League spin-off by Psyonix scheduled for release on Android and iOS in late 2021. It replicates the gameplay of the original version except that it’s in 2D. Players can compete in 1v1 or 2v2 online matches.
