Samsung Galaxy S7 Jet Black Leaks Ahead Of Proposed December Release Date
Images of the Samsung Galaxy S7 with a glossy black finish have leaked just days after initial rumors of the device’s release surfaced. While still unconfirmed, the images, shared on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, are good evidence that the new Galaxy S7 color option is real.
Reports indicate Samsung may release the new model sometime in December. The device highly resembles Apple’s Jet Back iPhone 7. At this time there is no word on what special name Samsung will give this color option.
So far the Galaxy S7 is available in Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, Gold Platinum and Pink Gold. The Blue Coral version of the Galaxy S7 Edge released in mid-November to make up for Samsung having to remove the Galaxy Note 7 from the market. The phablet was the first to have that color option.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch (S7 Edge, 5.5-inch dual-curved) Quad HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, a 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage options with expandable storage up to 256GB, a 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera, both with f/1.7 aperture, a 3,000mAh battery (S7 Edge, 3,600mAh) and the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
