The Samurai Riot Definitive Edition is arriving on Nintendo Switch and PC June 1. It’s going to offer new features and improvements to make sure that this 2D beat’em up is something that shouldn’t be missed.
The game was first released back in 2017, and is best described as easy to play but difficult to master. This latest version offers a lot of new things like new dialogs and new animation at 60 FPS.
In the game, players take on the role of fighters who have been hired to bring back peace and tranquility to a warring land. Samurai Riot offers a wide range of choices and features like solo and cooperative play. Players can also enjoy the immersive story, which has a multi-branching storyline and complete with eight different endings. Players can also go head-to-head with their partners.

In a statement, Wako Factory art director and co-founder Charlotte Buchet revealed that they wanted to release the Definitive Edition on Switch since the platform embodies the “couch game” aspect they imagined.
