Skul: The Hero Slayer Patch 1.7.3 Buffs Magic Attacks

Patch 1.7.3 for Skul: The Hero Slayer is now live. This update is mainly focused on improving magic attacks.

Players who love to play the mage but often found themselves starving of mana might like the changes in Patch 1.7.3. For example, the amount of mana gained by hitting enemies with the mage’s basic attacks has increased from one to two. The mana recovery rate while meditating has increased from 1,000% to 1,500% as well.

The Great Warlock in Skul: The Hero Slayer is a unique skull that relies on magic orbs and concentrated magic attacks to deal damage. That said, some of the Great Warlock’s abilities have been rebalanced. Abyss Beam’s damage is increased and now has a knockback effect, but its cooldown is also increased to 30 seconds.

Additionally, Abyss Spike got a damage buff, and charging it completely (aka concentration) now changes its attack type. However, it got a five-second increase to its cooldown - now at 20 seconds - so it’s probably best to save the ability for tougher enemies.

    • Adjusted the mana recovery rate while meditating: 1,500% > 2,500%
    • Adjusted the mana recovery rate after swapping: 150% for 15 seconds> 200% for 15 seconds
    • The damage of blazing trails will now be increased once the player manages to hit a burnt enemy with [Fire Arrow]
  • Sage
    • Adjusted the mana recovery rate while meditating: 1,500% > 2,500%
    • Adjusted the mana recovery rate after swapping: 150% for 15 seconds > 200% for 15 seconds
    • The damage of blazing trails will now be increased once the player manages to hit a burnt enemy with [Fire Arrow]
    • Adjust the cooldown speed of Awakened: 60 seconds > 50 seconds
    • Adjust the duration of Awakened: 10 seconds > 15 seconds
Living Armor
  • Common
    • Increased the range of combo attacks
    • Increased the number of spirit flames gained by basic attacks and dash attacks
    • Increased the damage of [Soul Sword] for each enhancement level
    • Increased the damage of [Soul Burn] for each enhancement level
    • Increased the damage of [Soul Knuckle]
    • Changed the attack type of [Soul Knuckle]'s first enhancement level
    • Increased the damage of [Soul Charge] for each enhancement level
    • Adjusted that each enhancement level of [Soul Charge] to be immune to knockbacks
  • Soul Knight
    • While using a skill in the 1st enhancement stage, changed the spirit flames to only consume a portion of it rather than fully consuming
    • Adjusted the number of attacks of [Soul Sword]'s 2nd enhancement stage: 2 > 1
    • Changed the attack type of [Soul Knuckle]'s 2nd enhancement stage
    • Changed the attack type of [Soul Charge]'s 2nd enhancement stage
Great Warlock
  • Abyss Meteor
    • Reduced skill damage
    • Completing concentration increases the skill damage
    • Cooldown adjustments: 25 seconds > 40 seconds
    • Changed the projectiles to now fly to nearby random enemies
  • Abyss Orb
    • Increased skill damage
    • Completing concentration increases the skill damage
    • Damage output is increased depending on the time concentrated
    • Cooldown adjustments: 18 seconds > 25 seconds
    • Decreased the duration of projectiles

Skul: The Hero Slayer Patch 1.7.3 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
