It’s a new month and that means a new set of in-game events in Star Wars: The Old Republic. However, there are only two of those events this month.
The first is the Rakghoul Resurgence on Alderaan which started on April 5, and ends April 12. This one is for players who are at least Level 25.
In this event, the Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization, or T.H.O.R.N., has issued an official level-2 emergency alert with regards to an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague on Alderaan. The good news is that quarantines have been put in place to prevent the plague from going off-world. There are exceptions though for individuals with priority clearance.
As part of the work needed, T.H.O.R.N. is recruiting qualified volunteer emergency responders to go to affected areas and fight the spread of the Rakghoul plague. It’s important to note that plague symptoms can be treated if they are identified in the early stages of infection.
Featured rewards for this event include:
- Reputation with THORN
- Merciless Seeker’s Armor Set
- THORN Epicenter and Dark Vector Armor Sets
- Outbreak Response Weapons
- Alliance Contact - Doctor Lokin
- Infected Varactyl and Infected Dewback Mounts
- Ferocious Rakghoul Mini-pets
The second is Relics of the Gree which starts April 19 and runs until April 26. This one requires players to be at least Level 50.
What’s the deal here? Players are asked to explore Ilum's contested area in the Western Ice Shelf to learn more about the mysterious purpose of the Gray Secant, which is an enormous ancient Gree starship. Don’t think this is easy since there’s a powerful opponent that awaits players at the center of this ancient vessel. To start the adventure, just visit the in-game News Terminal located on Carrick Station in the Republic fleet or the Vaiken Spacedock in the Imperial fleet to get started on your adventure!
Featured rewards are:
- Reputation with the Gree Enclave
- Gree Digitization Cube
- White, Red, and Blue Scalene Armor
- Gray Helix Weapons
- L1-L Defender, L1-L Scout, and Miniature Gray Secant Mini-pets
- Cyan Sphere, Blue Sphere and Red Sphere Vehicles
Don't be too sad if there are not many in-game events. That's because the second season of Galactic Seasons has actually started on April 5 and will last until May 3. There are Daily and Weekly Season Objectives that you can read more about here.
