Since it was first released, Star Wars: Squadrons received a lot of new content. So what’s coming this year? It seems that for the next few weeks, some changes are arriving in starfighters and components. Players can also expect some tweaks to matchmaking parameters to ensure an excellent gameplay experience.

First Set

The first set of balances have in fact arrived for starfighters and components, particularly for the A-wing. The ship’s shield capacity has been lowered by 20% and the overcharge decay rate has increased by 100%, matching it with that of the TIE defender.

These two changes should bring the performance of the A-wing in line with other starfighters while making sure that its interceptor role is not affected. Players wanting to use the A-wing now need to have better power management.

New Things Arriving

More cosmetics are planned to be released to the game. That may be on the road ahead, but for now, players can enjoy customization options and Twitch Prime rewards, two of which are still available. Currently, players can use in-game pilot helmets with Striking Impact and Kidron Sunset. Next month, it’s the Prime Gaming Supply Drop 4. Get those Twitch rewards here.

Operations

The last cosmetic drop is scheduled for May 4, which is Star Wars Day. However, rewards for Operation can still be obtained even after that. So just continue finishing those online challenges to get those sweet rewards. Learn more about Operations here.
