Fans can rejoice as Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will finally be available to download and play…..later in the day. Although the latest Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition update is slated to bring in brand-new game modes and new characters, the Street Fighter servers will undergo maintenance until at least the afternoon.
According to the official Street Fighter Twitter account , server maintenance will last until around 3pm EST. Of course, this timetable may change so be sure to check out the Street Fighter account and the Street Fighter Server Twitter account for regular updates.
Owners of Street Fighter V can pre-load the Arcade Edition now by going to the PlayStation or Microsoft Store and download the 21GB free update. This update will replace the existing Street Fighter V game.
Capcom will also release physical and digital versions of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition in North America and Europe to players who don’t own Street Fighter V for $39.99.
The Arcade Edition will include the original Street Fighter V content and a ton of new additions like Arcade Mode, DLC characters from past seasons and new V-triggers for every character on the roster. Here’s a rundown of all the content available in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition .

The Arcade mode will allow players to choose from six different paths and fight against CPU opponents to receive special endings based on the player’s performance. In Extra Battle Mode, a new series of time-exclusive challenges will be available for players to use their Fight Money for the chance to receive an exclusive premium outfit each month. Each month will have four challenges where players can receive a special premium costume exclusive to this mode. Extra challenges are added and more unannounced content are on the way.
