If you’re in the market for a role-playing game, then give Tales of Arise a shot. Developed and published by Bandai Namco, it’s scheduled to be released this September 10. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
This is the latest game of the Tales franchise, first planned to be released in 2020 but delayed to this September. According to a report, Producer Yusuke Tomizawa sees this new game as a “refresh” to the series. For example, unlike the other games in the series, this new one won’t have multiplayer.
Tales of Arise takes place in a divided world between the medieval Dahna and the advanced Rena. For years, the superior technology and magical advancement of Rena have ruled over Dahna.
Key Features
Both longtime fans and new players have a lot to look forward to when it comes to the features. There’s what’s known as the “Atmospheric Shader,” which is inspired by watercolor painting as well as anime. Players can enjoy the characters and their attractive designs as they travel in a world that offers those delicate and beautiful visuals.
Another interesting feature is the new “Boost Strike” system. This one allows players to chain combinations of attacks with party members to take down enemies.
