A Fallen Kingdom
The game is set in the once thriving Kingdom of Hermes that has since fallen to an age of calamity. Alchemy is seen as the answer to many of the kingdom’s ailments and as a result, it became a widely used practice in the kingdom. Citizens have welcomed it to their homes and even used it to enhance and heal as they see fit.
As the price of alchemy started to become steep, there were attempts to end its use. However, each one was as unsuccessful as the last. This led to catastrophic consequences felt all across the realm and within days the kingdom fell to chaos with infected monsters prowling the blood-soaked streets and all hope of a cure lost.
The Final Hope
Players take on the role of Corvus, considered the final hope of the kingdom. It seems that the truth has been buried deep in the memories of Corvus and left scattered across the punishing world. It is only by collecting these lost memories that the kingdom can be saved. However, each time he dives back in and tries to piece together the truth, all he finds are more secrets.
