The new DLC for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is now available. The Shattering Spectreglass introduces the new Blightcaller class along with a new dungeon said to be linked to Vesper's darkest secrets. There are also expanded options for character creation.
The Shattering Spectreglass is the fourth Mirror of Mystery and offers a window to the memories of Vesper which are plagued by visions of Redmourne the Trivern. This is a beast that feeds on fear and can grow multiple heads. To help Vesper escape her past, you need to bring down this beast once and for all.
Like the other Mirrors of Mystery, this one also gives players a chance to face a more difficult dungeon and farm higher-tier loot to help them complete the main story. Shattering Spectreglass is available for individual purchase or through the Season Pass.
Poison Power
The Blightcaller can wield the noxious essence of swamps with potent precision and can suffocate foes in tempests of poisonous Plaguestorms while also summoning vengeful spirits from their Bog Totem turret. Blightcallers are good at dealing elemental damage, especially poison. This class also receives additional boosts to elemental damage whenever they apply a status effect. This is all due to their Class Feat which is Whisper of Rot.
The Fatemaker
The Shattering Spectreglass gives players the ability to customize their Fatemaker during character creation. One of these is the new voice option; this grim voice personality gives the Fatemaker that delightful doom-and-gloom demeanor.
In addition to the new voice option, players can also tweak their starting stats even further. This is possible through the four fresh backstories that players can choose from:
- Nerfed by the Bunkermaster
- Clownblood
- Apprentice Barnacle Scraper
- Street Urchin Success Story
Take Out Redmourne
To help Vesper, players need to take out Redmourne the Trivern. That's going to be easier said than done. The first time players encounter Redmourne, it's going to have one head. However, more will appear in his subsequent forms.
That's because, for the three consecutive weeks after the Shattering Spectreglass is launched, Redmourne is going to recoup and regenerate his element-spewing heads. Difficult as the fight may be, there's a good reason to take on those rematches. For each progressively tougher version, new Legendary gear is added to the loot table.
Below is the planned schedule for the different forms and the planned loot for each difficulty level:
- First Form: August 11 at 12:30 p.m. ET
- Loot: New Vengeance Legendary gun
- Second Form: August 18 at 12:30 p.m. ET
- Loot: New Brutal Stampede Legendary armor
- Third Form: August 25 at 12:30 p.m. ET
- Loot: New Curse of Malice Legendary spell
- Final Form: September 1 at 12:30 p.m. ET
- Loot: New Sly Trivern Legendary gun
