Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 officially revealed its newest faction with the Unseen. This is the fifth, and final, faction to be part of the game. The Unseen now joins other factions like Pioneers, Camarilla, Baron, and Newcomers in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.
Set in Seattle, the factions of Bloodlines 2 are composed of groups of Kindred having similar backgrounds, goals, and hunting grounds. The different factions have long been involved in a constant struggle for influence, control, and of course that all too delicious red stuff.
The Pioneers, for example, were the first ones to settle and rule the city, but have since seen their control start to slip away. Meanwhile the Baron is someone who stays in the shadows and manages to unite the desperate and even the defiant. So what can players expect with the Unseen?
While some of the factions work from galleries and even penthouses, the Unseen come from below, literally the underground. This is not surprising since the Unseen mainly had its beginnings among the destitute and homeless, unfortunates that a lot of people tend to subconsciously, or even willfully, ignore. Unlike the other factions, Unseen are composed exclusively of Nosferatu. This Clan of the Hidden has long been excluded by the other vampires of Seattle.
The Unseen is led by the Council of Three. Since its beginnings, the faction has grown and excelled at gathering intel as well as trading secrets. This is because most of the Unseen have hackers and journalists, among others, in their ranks. It is clear that the Unseen is a faction that can be a powerful ally, that is, if you can find them.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is based on the tabletop RPG by White Wolf titled Vampire: The Masquerade and serves as the sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. The game follows the story of a human who is killed and revived as a fledgling thinblood vampire with weak vampiric abilities. Bloodlines 2 offers a first-person perspecive, though the game alternates to third person for some contextual activities. Bloodlines 2 is set to be released for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in March 2020.
