In Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 episode 6, which airs Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC, one Grey Sloan employee has returned, while another may soon be making an exit. Board member, Katherine Avery is pushing the hospital chief, Miranda Bailey to fire Dr. Karev after he attacked another doctor and obtained a felony charge. So far, Karev has continued to work at the hospital, but not as a full-fledged doctor. He has been assisting at the hospital’s clinic for some time. Now he is back working as a doctor, but still banned from performing surgery.
In an episode 6 sneak peek, Dr. Bailey and Katherine Avery discuss Karev’s fate and Katherine insists Bailey is being too soft on him. She tells she chief she may have to step in and fire Karev herself. But Bailey insists he is innocent until proven guilty.

Returning to the hospital, is a former intern who caused a lot drama and ultimately flunked out of the program. Leah Murphy is known for suing the hospital on sexual harassment after she slept with two attendings (Arizona Robbins and Alex Karev) on two separate occasions. Several opinions are circulating about Leah. Maggie believes her to be a competent doctor. However, many who worked with her, including Stephanie Edwards and Jo Wilson from her intern class, distinctly remember her reputation as a lackluster student.
Meanwhile, Amelia has had a change of heart about kids after discovering that she is not pregnant. She believed she was during episode 5, but the pregnancy test came in negative when she finally took one. Explaining her stance to her husband, Owen, she tells him they don’t need to rush into having children, considering they have been married for only two months. Owen appears a bit shaken by her sudden change of direction. We know he really wants children and that his previous marriage to Cristina Yang failed after she was insistent about not having children.
