Someone is dead on How To Get Away With Murder Season 3 episode 9, and we already know it’s not Oliver, Bonnie, Laurel, Michaela, Asher, Wes or Connor. Each of the last seven episodes of How To Get Away With Murder revealed one person who was not the body underneath the sheet. This leaves only two people remaining as possible victims of the Season 3 mystery: Frank and Nate.
Viewers learned early in Season 3 that there was a fire at Annalise’s home, which claimed someone’s life. Annalise was arrested and charged with arson and first-degree murder. Annalise cried out in anguish upon realizing someone was dead, but quickly began covering her tracks so the police began to suspect her.
She dropped her phone at the crime scene, instructing Oliver to wipe the device of evidence and plant it back at the crime scene. However, we also know that Wes goes to the police and gives them testimony, which would back up the charges Annalise is facing. There’s no telling what events really lead to the death of someone close to Annalise.
At the end of How To Get Away With Murder episode 8, Annalise and Frank meet face-to-face for the first time since the end of Season 2. Annalise confronts Frank about his involvement in the death of her son. A distraught Frank puts a gun to his head and Annalise urges him to pull the trigger, while Bonnie pleads with them both to stop.
However, in episode 9, Annalise is expected to have a “heated confrontation” with her ex-boyfriend, Nate, pertaining to his new girlfriend, ADA Rene Atwood. The two have been at odds ever since they broke up due to Annalise’s alcoholism.
Is it Frank or Nate under the sheet? We will find out more during episode 9, “Who's Dead?,” which is best viewed on television or live online through ABC Live.
How To Get Away With Murder Season 3 episode 9 airs Thursday at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
