In Pretty Little Liars Season 7 episode 3, which airs at 8 p.m. EDT Tuesday, the Liars are suspicious that Alison’s husband, Elliott Rollins, is actually doing her more harm than good. Emily will spot Elliott conversing with Mary Drake, which leads her to believe the two are working together as enemies of the Liars (which is true, but they haven’t confirmed this yet).
Alison has been committed to Welby State Psychiatric Hospital ever since the end of Season 6 , on order of her husband, who is also a doctor. Elliott is not only acting as Alison’s proxy, but is also in charge of her care at Welby (we thought doctors couldn’t treat their family members as patients, but whatever, it’s Rosewood). However, the Liars know something fishy is going on, and so does Alison. The Liars will devise a plan to get Alison away from Elliott, and an episode promo shows Alison attacking him and escaping the hospital, with Elliott chasing behind her.
The episode 3 synopsis also says the Liars will make a “deadly” mistake while trying to save Alison. Prior season promos have shown Spencer, Aria and Emily in the woods, possibility burying a body and talking about an act they committed that might be murder.
Do the Liars end up killing Elliott during this mayhem? We will find out in the upcoming episode, called “The Talented Mr. Rollins,” which is best viewed on television or live online through Freeform Live .
Meanwhile, Emily attempts to reconnect with Sabrina, the barista at Ezra’s coffee shop. However, she turns down Emily’s suggestion for a date, noting she still hasn’t gotten over Emily stealing the keys to Ezra’s apartment while she was working. It remains unknown if Sabrina will ultimately forgive Emily.
The rest of the story unfolds Tuesday when Pretty Little Liars Season 7 Episode 4 airs at 8 p.m. EDT on Freeform.
