USA’s Mr. Robot returns for Season 2 on July 13 giving viewers a little under a month to watch Season 1 of the critically acclaimed show. Those looking to watch the series for the first time or to rewatch the debut season can turn to Amazon Prime.
Subscribers can watch the first season exclusively on Amazon Prime. Mr. Robot follows the life of an anti-social computer programmer named Elliot Anderson (Rami Malek), a cybersecurity engineer by day and vigilante hacker by night. He’s recruited by the mysterious Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) to join a team of skilled hackers with one common goal: to destroy corporate America.
Season 2 picks up 30 days after the first season leaves off, with Elliot learning the identity of Mr. Robot.
“Now that Elliot knows who Mr. Robot is, its very different from last year. What he’s trying to do at all costs is to remove him from his world,” said Malek in an exclusive teaser to The Hollywood Reporter. Slater added in the teaser: “Season 2 will go to some really dark places. We delve into several of the nooks and crannies of Elliot’s psyche.”
Amazon Prime will also have the final seasons of other acclaimed series’ like The Good Wife and Downton Abbey, and CBS’ BrainDead and American Gothic will be available four days after the shows broadcast on television.
