Brock Lesnar will be the cover athlete for the upcoming WWE 2K17 . The next installment of the wrestling franchise will focus on Lesnar as players get to play as the mayor of Suplex City.
“My career has been defined by dominating every opportunity presented to me,” said Brock Lesnar. “I am excited for my newest opportunity representing WWE 2K17 as the franchise’s ambassador and honored to serve as the WWE 2K17 cover Superstar.”

While it wasn’t said outright, WWE 2K17 will likely have a “Showcase” mode that will allow players to go through Lesnar’s WWE career, similar to Steve Austin in WWE 2K16 .
Bill Goldberg is the focus of the pre-order content for WWE 2K17, which includes some WCW content. Goldberg was the last wrestler Lesnar faced before leaving the WWE during his first stint. It’s not a coincidence that the WWE and 2K Games did this, as players can recreate (and improve upon) their disappointing WrestleMania 20 match.
The roster for WWE 2K17 is slowly being revealed with John Cena, the Ultimate Warrior and Sasha Banks being the first confirmed roster spots at E3 2016.
With the Oct. 11 release date, more and more roster spots will be revealed, especially some of the logical choices, like the members of the SHIELD or the Wyatt family which made a short cameo in the Brock Lesnar trailer, so keep checking back for more WWE 2K17 updates.
