The first six tag teams have been revealed for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, starting on Oct. 5 only on the WWE Network. The tournament will conclude at NXT TakeOver: Toronto on Nov. 19.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Roster

The list of wrestlers participating in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic this year so far are all NXT wrestlers, with one big exception: Kota Ibushi. Ibushi returns to a WWE ring after his semi-finals loss in the Cruiserweight Classic. We’ll see what 10 other teams will be revealed daily until the tournament kicks off.

The list of known teams are as follows:

• Kota Ibushi and Hideo Itami

• Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss

• Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger

• DIY: Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano

• The Revival: Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder

• Andrade “Cien” Almas and Cedric Alexander

It’s disappointing to see Alexander away from Rich Swann, as the two have already shown they work well together as a tag team. Regardless, Alexander is a great talent, and more of him on our screens is a good thing.
