It’s no secret that 2022 wasn’t a very good year for Xbox. Many exclusive games that we were looking forward to got delayed to next year, and the only saving grace for Microsoft was the Game Pass.
Well, thanks to all the delays, 2023 is looking better than ever. Xbox can have one of its best years if nothing goes wrong. So, here are all the games coming exclusively to Microsoft’s console that we are looking forward to.
Starfield
Starfield is easily one of the biggest games for Xbox, the first new IP by Bethesda Game Studios in more than 25 years. The sci-fi role-playing game is planned for release in the first half of 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Forza Motorsport
PlayStation has Gran Turismo and Microsoft has Forza Motorsport. The latest entry in the sim-racing genre is not going to be called Forza Motorsport 8, but instead, without any number attached to it. This indicates that the new entry will be a fresh start for the series, with a target release window in the second quarter of 2023.
Redfall
Redfall might not be creating the hype the developer is hoping for, but we should still be keeping an eye on it. The game’s developer previously worked on Prey, which was an incredible title. If Redfall is half as good as Prey, then it’s a success in our books. The FPS game where you fight off vampires will be released in the first half of 2023.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl
The next entry in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series was supposed to come out this month. However, the game was understandably delayed due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Right now, the game is hoping for a 2023 release, but we won’t be surprised if it gets delayed even further.
Everwild
Everwild is the latest game by the once-iconic studio, Rare. The developer behind Sea of Thieves is currently working on an action-adventure game that features zero combat; a bold but intriguing move. The game is targeting either a 2023 or 2024 release.
