The final DLC in the Expansion Pass for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch this April 25. Expansion Pass Vol. 4 is titled Future Redeemed and is set before the events of the game. A new original story scenario is featured and serves as the connection to all the three games in the Xenoblade Chronicles series.
In addition to meeting new and familiar characters, players can also experience new battle mechanics like the Unity Combo which allow two characters to attack in unison.
Amiibo Figures
Players should be happy to know that the Pyra + Mythra two-pack amiibo figures are coming out July 21. By scanning the Pyra amiibo in-game, they can change the appearance of the sword for Noah’s Swordfighter class and have it match to Pyra’s Aegis Sword.
When scanning the Mythra amiibo, the sword for Noah’s Swordfighter class matches Mythra’s Aegis Sword. They can also use the Aegis sword weapon skins after meeting a condition with a patch launching in the future.
New Noah and Mio amiibo figures are also planned for release with more information to be shared in the coming days.
About the Game
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 takes place in the world of Aionios where the nations of Keves and Agnus have been embroiled in an endless conflict. However, there is a new threat far greater than the endless fighting. Fortunately, a chance encounter resulted in a group of six soldiers coming from both nations to put aside their differences and work together to expose this far bigger threat.
Players get to join Noah, Mio, and their friends as they journey across epic landscapes, fight against ferocious creatures, and try to break the never-ending cycle of violence that has bound their homelands.
Like previous Xenoblade Chronicles games, battles start when players face enemies directly on the field. They control Noah’s party of six and will meet more characters during their adventure who can join the party as support. Each fighter has its own role in battle allowing for diverse strategies. The class influences how characters battle as well. Characters can also harness powerful abilities known as Arts to get the win.
