XSEED Games, which is probably the most popular localizers of Japanese video games, have now released their lineup for E3 2019.

As the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous in the Western territories, XSEED Games has confirmed that their lineup this year will be a diverse one, with a press release describing it as “Action, RPGs, Farming, and Burgers Abound.” As with other companies, their E3 offerings will be made available from June 11 to 13, with their booth located at West Hall Booth 4700. XSEED Games has also announced that three of these titles are games for the Nintendo Switch, including Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, Heroland (known in Japan as WORK x WORK) and BurgerTime Party!

All of this said, the titles will be made available for a variety of platforms: three for the PC, three for the PlayStation 4 and five to the Nintendo Switch. As an added bonus, one more mystery title will be revealed during XSEED's time at E3, so if you’re attending, be sure to stop by their booth to find out what it is.

Here is XSEED Games’ lineup for E3 2019.

  • Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC) – An action/simulation title from developers Edelweiss, best known for their wok on Astebreed. Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin combines side-scrolling action with an in-depth crafting and farming simulator to create one unique title, in which you play as a harvest goddess-turned-human named Sakuna. The title is currently in development and is set to be released this winter.
  • Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed (Playstation 4) – A remake of the original “strip action RPG,” which will see release in the West for the very first time. Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed sees your character exposing vampiric creatures called Shadow Souls to sunlight and, in the process, liberating them of their clothes. The title is currently in development and a release date will be announced at a later time.
  • Heroland (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4) – A single player RPG and a true classic of the genre, released for the first time in the West. The original title is WORK x WORK, and features a theme park where the guests are your hero characters, while you act as the tour guide. Heroland is developed by FuRyu and is eyeing a 2019 launch.
  • BurgerTime Party! (Nintendo Switch) – A reimagining of the retro arcade action title by Data East back in 1982. BurgerTime Party! includes new game modes, as well as up to four-player co-op or competitive, set against 100+ stages of diner action fun. The title is being developed by G-Mode and is all set for a Fall 2019 launch.
  • Rune Factory 4 Special (Nintendo Switch) – A remastered version of the world-famous fantasy farming adventure title. Also includes new features, such as the Newlywed mode, which lets you experience married life along with new in-game cutscenes. The title is currently in development and is eyeing a 2019 launch.
  • Senran Kagura Peach Ball (Nintendo Switch, PC) – The busty ninjas take on a new genre, one they will cover for the first time: Pinball. Infused with the series’ unique flavor and take on every genre it spans, Senran Kagura Peach Ball also features a Diorama Mode and a Dressing Room. The title is set for release on the Nintendo Switch on July 9, with a PC version releasing later this summer.

The press release also notes that a new announcement is coming soon that relates to E3 2019, so be sure to check in with us for more coverage as this develops.
