The Walking Dead’s Khary Payton confirmed to ComicBook.com he’ll return to voice Aqualad in Young Justice Season 3, and it appears Jason Spisak may reprise his role as Kid Flash too, despite Wally West having been assumed MIA in the Young Justice Season 2 finale.
Last week, Spisak took to Twitter to share a scene from the upcoming Teen Titans: The Judas Contract animated movie, where he voices Kid Flash. The tweet has a pretty awesome Teen Titans fight scene, and Spisak’s wording suggests there’s a chance Kid Flash is alive in Young Justice after all.
Flash, Kid Flash and Impulse all joined together in the Young Justice Season 2 finale to stop a magnetic field disrupter, which the Reach placed all across the world, from going “chrysalis mode” and exploding. Because his super speed isn’t as fast as the other speedsters, the energy consumed him and he disappeared. Bart Allen now wears the Kid Flash suit to honor Wally's legacy.
It’s unclear which other characters are set to return or who will voice them. Stay tuned for updates, as Young Justice Season 3 is currently in production.
