The first campaign event in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links has popped up and it allows mobile duelists to battle Yugi Muto in the Duel World and win some awesome new cards.
Yugi Muto will randomly appear in the Duel World just like the other Duel Legends starting Jan. 19 to Jan. 24. If you defeat him, you can win a victory reward card that you can’t get anywhere else.
Here are some more details from inside the mobile game regarding the Yugi Muto campaign event in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links . Yugi will not appear in the Duel Gate, so you’ll have to log-in to Duel Links often to get the chance to duel him.
Only one Yugi Muto will appear in Duel World at one time. The Duel Assessment at the end of every duel will be the same as if you were facing any other Legendary Duelist. The lottery determining Yugi Muto’s appearance is in no way connected to the spawning of Standard or Legendary Duelists. This means that every duelist will be able to duel more than Legendary Duelist at any one time.
Duel Orbs will not affect Yugi Muto’s appearance in Duel World. Muto’s appearance at Level 20 or higher is random and is dependent on your individual Stage level.
Duelists will want to face off against Yugi Muto as often as possible to get some of his cards to add to their own decks. Muto comes at three different levels (10, 20 and 30) and each level offers better cards.
